Slade Health enhances precision and efficiency with Elekta ONE OIS integration

Slade Health has taken a significant step forward in digital healthcare administration with the recent integration of Elekta ONE OIS into Rockhampton Hospital, Bundaberg Hospital and Hervey Bay Hospital, where Slade partners with local teams to deliver the best possible care for patients. Slade Health is part of Icon (Group) and operates within the Group’s broader network of healthcare services.

Elekta ONE OIS^® is powered by MOSAIQ and integrates directly with Slade Health’s Order Tracking (SHOT) platform, automatically ingesting all customer orders and acting as a central hub for order management.

Head of ANZ at Elekta Asia Pacific & Japan, Michael Wawrzyniak, reflected on the powerful enhancements that the new system introduces for Slade.

Automation that delivers

The benefits extend beyond Slade Health’s operations – customers can now place orders earlier, reducing transcription workload and providing more time for pharmacists to be present with patients.

At Slade Health Geebung, the team has already reported measurable improvements, with more than four hours saved per week on order entry time with Hervey Bay Hospital.

Each dose requested by the prescriber is verified by an oncology pharmacist before compounding and supply – providing additional reassurance for our hospital partners.

The oncology pharmacy team at Hervey Bay Hospital recognised the exciting addition and how it has improved real-time visibility for order status.
