The Opportunity
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, support quality use of medicines, delivery of education to our multidisciplinary team, and provide medicines information to patients and carers. You’ll have the chance to develop and utilise your clinical pharmacy skills to have a genuine impact on lives of our patients.

About the Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide hands-on clinical pharmacy services, supporting patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team. This is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and gain experience that will open doors to future opportunities.
  
  • Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicines
  
Our full-time roster, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, supports a healthy work-life balance.
  
About You
Prior hospital pharmacy experience will be well regarded, but not a requirement. We strongly encourage Community Pharmacists looking to transition into the hospital space to apply for this position. Hands-on training will be provided.
  
To be considered for the role, we require that you are a
  • Registered Pharmacist with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Pharmacist in an Australian-based Pharmacy
