Our state-of-the-art pharmacy offers both hospital and community pharmacy services, including a cutting-edge compounding site.

As a pharmacy student, you will have the chance to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This is a perfect opportunity for you to develop a great foundation of knowledge regarding general pharmacy medications, whilst experiencing the full spectrum of pharmacy services, all at one site. We can offer you the best of both worlds, from retail to multidisciplinary hospital care, you’ll have the chance to specialise in clinical pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, and compounding.

We have hours available throughout the entire week, from weekdays to weekends, with a variety of shifts during the day, as well as afternoons/evenings. We are happy to offer flexibility for the right applicant, so please be sure to outline your availability when submitting your application.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Deliver high-level pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers.
  • Work alongside our pharmacists, gaining hands-on experience as you transition from a pharmacy assistant to a pharmacy technician / student pharmacist.
  • Dispense and supply medications for hospital, oncology, and IVF patients.
  • Assist with inventory management, including imprest tasks and medication delivery in hospital wards.
  • Provide health-related guidance, including product recommendations such as vitamins, pain medications, and general health advice, addressing patients' day-to-day needs.
  • Support customers during their IVF journey by providing knowledge and assistance with IVF medications.
  • Learn from our in-store beauty advisor to expand your knowledge of health and wellness products.
  • Complete data entry of patient-specific information and assist with patient account enquiries.
  • Liaise with hospital staff and assist the pharmacy team with administrative and record-keeping duties.
Who are we looking for?
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on patients' lives.
  • Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in using FRED dispense and familiar with the PBS.
  • Customer-focused with a solid understanding of Point-of-Sale Systems.
Essential Criteria:
  • Be currently enrolled as a 1st or 2nd year university pharmacy student.
  • Experience in an Australian pharmacy setting is required.
