The Opportunity
We are seeking a pharmacist to join our Epic Pharmacy team at St. Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.

This is a permanent part-time position with 48-hour fortnights. If desired, there will be opportunities to pick up additional shifts across the Epic Pharmacy network in the area.

About the Role
Step out from behind the counter and fully engage with customers to:
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
  • Embrace full scope of practice in pharmacy (including complex disease management and vaccination)
You will be based at our community pharmacy within the St. Andrew’s precinct. Shifts will be 3-day weeks, with every 2nd Saturday worked.

Pharmacy operating hours are Monday – Friday: 08:30am – 05:00pm. Saturdays: 09:00am – 12:00pm

About You
To be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following:
  • Current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
  • Embrace change and commit to learning
  • Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously
