Following the recent announcement of Icon Group’s partnership with Nuffield Health in the United Kingdom, we are pleased to share the appointment of Aldo Rolfo as Icon’s Executive Manager, Strategic Growth.

This newly created global role will oversee and lead the direction of Icon Group’s future growth with a focus on sustainable developments and opportunities that will help us meet our mission to deliver exceptional care to more people.

Aldo brings over 20 years of clinical and operational healthcare experience, having worked at leading organisations including Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and GenesisCare.

In his most recent role at GenesisCare Aldo was responsible for operational excellence across Australia, the US, the United Kingdom, and Spain and worked closely with local teams to implement new patient services and clinical initiatives and establish government and private partnerships to deliver successful cancer care.

Aldo is an engaged leader with a strong track record in operational efficiencies particularly in radiation therapy services, quality and safety, and funding management, enabling clinical teams to focus on patient-centred care. He says teamwork and a sense of purpose underscores successful healthcare.

“I’m very excited to join Icon and work alongside likeminded people with a genuine commitment to making a difference to cancer patients everywhere,” said Aldo.

“Having worked in Australia, the US, the UK and Spain, it’s clear there is a growing need for more cancer care and through innovation, local partnerships and experience, Icon is delivering a world-class level of care – and I look forward to being part of that success.”

Aldo will have a strong focus on setting the foundations of our entry into the UK and will explore and develop a strong strategic direction across our global operations to ensure we continue to provide the best possible care to more people.
