Epworth Healthcare and Slade Pharmacy strengthen 50-year partnership with long-term contract extension
Slade Pharmacy (Slade) is proud to announce the extension of its pharmacy services contract with Epworth HealthCare (Epworth) through to 2031.

With over 60 years of specialised hospital pharmacy experience and a national footprint of more than 70 pharmacy sites, Slade has consistently set benchmarks in clinical governance, operational efficiency, innovation and patient care.
The extension of the Epworth contract is a testament to Slade’s ongoing commitment to excellence and its ability to evolve with the needs of Australia’s leading hospital groups.
Pharmacy innovation
A key feature of the renewed agreement is the continued rollout of ChartFlow, Slade’s proprietary digital medication ordering tool.
Now live across all Epworth sites and used by over 950 nurses, ChartFlow enhances safety, visibility, and workflow efficiency by enabling real-time transmission of orders, prioritised work queues, and live dispensary performance monitoring.
For patients, this means safe, efficient and timely access to medications through well connected clinical teams.
This innovation is supported by comprehensive clinical training and change management resources, ensuring seamless adoption across pharmacy and nursing teams.
