The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to lead and mentor our national Pharmacy AR team. This is a newly created, additional Team Leader role designed to support our growing operations and further strengthen our national AR capability.

Based at our South Brisbane headquarters and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, this role combines operational oversight, hands‑on customer engagement, and people leadership.

You will guide Senior AR Officers and AR Officers across Australia, ensuring timely collections, a strong customer experience, and accurate financial outcomes within a high‑volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Query Resolution
  • Lead and oversee professional handling of inbound and outbound phone and email enquiries.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex customer and client issues.
  • Drive a first‑contact resolution approach and coach the team on communication, negotiation and service recovery techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support timely issue resolution.
Financial Administration & AR Control
  • Manage daily AR operations aligned with agreed collection and customer service KPIs.
  • Research, respond to, and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
Data, Systems & Compliance
  • Ensure privacy, confidentiality and data security requirements are adhered to.
  • Oversee accurate and efficient data and document management.
People Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor and support team members through on‑the‑job coaching and skills development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on accuracy, efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Model customer‑centric behaviour and continuous improvement practices.
What You’ll Bring
  • Demonstrated Accounts Receivable experience, including resolving complex queries.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team.
  • Strong customer service capability and relationship‑building skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient in a high‑volume environment.
