We are looking for a Casual Pharmacist to join our supportive and collaborative teams located onsite in the Epworth Freemasons Private Hospital in Albert Street & Victoria Parade, East Melbourne. You will provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently and effectively dispensing and distributing medication
- Conducting medication history interviews, performing medication reconciliation (when required)
- Preparing discharge summaries during transitions of care
- Offering medication counselling and education to patients
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide advice on patient care
- Monitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
- Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals
- Assist to oversee imprest services and continuity of medication supply
About You
We encourage all pharmacists to apply, whether you're an experienced Hospital Pharmacist or a Community Pharmacist eager for your first experience in hospital pharmacy.
To be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following:
- Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
- Previous pharmacy experience within Australia or New Zealand
- Strong ability to manage your workload independently, paired with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
- A genuine passion for advancing your clinical skills and knowledge
