What You’ll Do
As an Oncology Pharmacist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the new cancer care service in the hospital. You’ll be part of a highly specialised team supporting the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of cancer therapies within a clinical oncology setting, where your depth of experience is valued and your clinical insights actively shape patient outcomes and influence best practices.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level clinical pharmacy services in oncology, including medication review, patient counselling, and treatment optimisation.
• Apply advanced professional judgement to complex clinical cases, supporting evidence-based care across the patient journey.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a cohesive and patient-centred cancer care environment.
• Provide expert advice on oncology protocols, treatment regimens, and supportive care strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and research activities within the oncology setting.

  
What You’ll Bring
You are an experienced Pharmacist with a strong clinical foundation and the ability to work independently while contributing meaningfully to multidisciplinary teams. Your sound clinical judgment and collaborative approach make you a valuable asset in patient care. Clinical pharmacy experience is essential for this role, while experience in oncology pharmacy is desirable, it is not mandatory as training will be provided.
  
Essential Requirements

• Permanent Australian working rights
• Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist
• Minimum 4-years Pharmacist experience in Australia
• Prior experience with clinical pharmacy

  
Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience in oncology pharmacy
