What You’ll Do
As a Communication Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping deliver a wide range of strategic communication initiatives from internal and external campaigns, and social media content, to supporting media releases, events and reputation-building activities. You’ll also contribute to the team’s success by providing reliable administrative support that enhances overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating clear, accurate, and engaging content aligned with Icon’s strategic communication goals and brand identity.
  • Contribute to digital campaigns including writing corporate comms, news articles, social media posts and presentation support.
  • Support the team with reporting and analysing data, briefing design work and campaign assets, and other operational communication tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of communication initiatives.
  
What You’ll Bring
Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build great working relationships are key. Previous experience in private healthcare or professional services in a corporate environment is an added bonus, but above all, we’re looking for someone to learn and grow with us.
  
Essential Requirements
  • Permanent Australian working rights.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, PR, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated creativity and strategy in communications.
  • Approximately 12-months of relevant internship experience if you’re a recent graduate.

  • Experience or interest in private healthcare or professional services in a corporate environment.
