About the Role
This permanent full-time position offers a hybrid-work arrangement. Based in our global head office in South Brisbane, Queensland. You will be a highly valued part of the Data & Analytics team to help develop our new Data Platform as we embark on an exciting journey to be smarter with data!

Working directly with the business, you’ll contribute to the build our new Enterprise Data Platform and help establish a self-service capability by maturing our cloud platform to support operational reporting as well as ad-hoc experimentation and analytics. You’ll be developing the Azure Data Platform as a primary focus but also be comfortable designing and developing data products that leverage it (integration solutions, reports, etc). The position will interface directly with the business and as such you’ll need to be comfortable in a business-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Data & Analytics team to help deliver our new Azure Data Platform to enable Icon to leverage our data assets
• Support the onboarding of new data sources into the platform by building highly optimised, resilient, secure and scalable data pipelines
• Work in close partnership with the business to develop data products which put the right information in front of the right people at the right time
• Work with delivery teams to provision data to support use cases
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues

  
About You
Essential Requirements

• Experience designing and developing dimensional data models across a range of functional areas
• Experience in data profiling, facilitating business-led data cleansing, and Data Quality frameworks
• Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies to ingest and transform data
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
• Self-motivated individual able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to build strong working relationships and a demonstrated willingness to be a team player
• Comfortable and confident leading and facilitating data-focussed workshops with the business
• Experience programming in Python
• Permanent Australian working rights

  
Desirable Skills & Experiences

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure, or related areas/technologies.
