The opportunity:
We are looking for a hospital pharmacist (clinical and dispensary) to join our team our of dedicated professionals in the Lingard Private Hospital site. This is an amazing opportunity to further develop your pharmacy career and gain experience in a clinical setting through the support and training of our collaborative team, in addition to the experience you’ll gain working in a hospital dispensary.

The hours:
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight. The hours for this position are as follows:
  • Monday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Thursday 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
In this role, you’ll:
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay and discharge
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
  • Be involved in the supply of IVF medications to Genea IVF patients.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.

You’ll:
  • Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian pharmacy- Community or Hospital experience
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team

  • Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously
Eligibility requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registered pharmacist
  • Previous experience in an Australian pharmacy
