What You’ll Do
- Lead Development & Support: Own development, and support of AXIS and SHOT, Slade Health’s core GMP systems. Collaboratively own the roadmap.
- Drive Modernisation: Collaborate with Slade Health leaders and IT peers to modernise core in-house developed applications.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain alignment with GMP and TGA standards, supporting audits and validation processes.
- Manage Delivery: Oversee upgrades, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Build Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
What You’ll Bring
You bring proven leadership experience within corporate environments and excel at solving problems and working collaboratively across departments. You understand the importance of reliable systems in supporting patient care and are committed to continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years of team leadership in an IT environment.
- Experience supporting systems in regulated environments (e.g., GMP, clinical settings).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage projects, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
- A tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points for
- Management experience in IT roles within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience managing projects involving the transition from legacy IT systems to modern platforms.
We have a preference for candidates based in Melbourne, where a hybrid work arrangement is available. Remote work is also available for candidates based in Sydney.
