About the role:
Reporting to the Network & Communications Team Leader, this permanent, full-time position is based in Australia, providing an exciting opportunity to manage and support the daily operations of Icon Group's IT infrastructure. The role is flexible regarding your location within Australia.

Key accountabilities:
  • Maintain and support systems and networks to ensure high reliability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate to meet incident and service request SLAs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead incident management when necessary, ensuring effective solutions are implemented.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives, from periodic security audits to collaborating with IT security teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and create/maintain work instructions and design documentation.
  • Assist with the design, configuration, and maintenance of existing and new networks.
  • Participate in training programs and foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Assist in budgeting, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring it remains within budget.
Position requirements / Key selection criteria:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior network role.
  • Expertise in technologies such as Cisco Meraki, Windows network (DNS, DHCP), Secure internet gateways (Cisco Umbrella), Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches, Palo Alto Firewall, and VPNs, as well as telephony and meeting room systems (Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex).
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Strong incident management and problem-solving skills, driving processes for incident response.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders.
