What You’ll Do
As an Oncology Nurse Educator at Icon, you’ll be at the forefront of cancer nursing education, influencing how care is delivered nationwide. You’ll lead the charge in developing cutting-edge education and training programs, ensuring the highest standard of care across our 40+ centres.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Deliver Education Programs: Lead the creation of impactful training that enhances staff competency and boosts patient care.
  • Innovate and Inspire: Research and implement forward-thinking education strategies tailored to staff needs.
  • Collaborate Nationwide: Work with on-site facilitators and clinical teams to shape learning priorities.
  • Mentor the Mentors: Support mentors and preceptors in their critical role of guiding the next generation of nurses.
  • Foster Excellence: Champion continuous improvement and maintain organisational standards across our nursing teams.
What You’ll Bring
  • Expertise and Experience: A seasoned Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of oncology nursing experience, including 3 years in radiation oncology.
  • Clinical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in education roles with a flair for program development and assessment.
  • Flexibility and Drive: Comfortable working across various sites when needed, and always eager to innovate and collaborate.
