About the Role

As an Outreach Clinical Hospital Pharmacist, you’ll be based at Port Augusta Hospital and regularly travel to remote healthcare facilities across the region. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients in underserved areas receive the highest standard of care — from medication supply and education to clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Travel to remote sites, ensuring medication supply and patient education

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly driven and team-oriented pharmacist who can deliver a high standard of customer service with sensitivity, compassion, and professionalism. You will have high attention to detail and strong time management and prioritisation skills.

Key Requirements:
  • Full general registration as a pharmacist in Australia (AHPRA) or New Zealand (PCNZ)
  • Previous dispensing/clinical experience in an Australian or New Zealand-based hospital or community pharmacy is essential.
  • Willingness to travel and embrace new challenges.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting (highly regarded)
  • Have strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) (highly regarded)
  • Possess effective time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working with a diverse team
  • Embrace change and commit to ongoing learning
  • Value attention to detail and be able to work autonomously
