About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to join Slade Pharmacy on a part-time permanent position, based on-site at the cutting-edge Monash IVF Clinic in Cremorne, Melbourne. In this unique role, you will lead the delivery of specialised IVF pharmacy services and provide critical support to patients undergoing fertility treatment. As the primary pharmacist embedded in the clinic, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive expert advice, compassionate care, and timely access to essential medications.
  
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a niche, innovative pharmacy service within a purpose-built, multidisciplinary fertility clinic. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy, while being supported by the wider Slade Pharmacy and Icon Group network. It’s the ideal role for a driven and self-motivated pharmacist who’s ready to step into a junior leadership position, or looking to build on existing management experience, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
  
You will build close working relationships with fertility specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, becoming an integral part of each patient’s fertility journey. With all training provided on the job, this is also a fantastic opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge into the highly specialised area of IVF and reproductive health.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Providing expert counselling and education to patients on IVF-related medications, medical devices, and correct injection techniques
• Dispensing and managing the supply and stock control of specialised fertility medications
• Overseeing daily on-site pharmacy operations, including workflow coordination and task allocation
• Collaborating with fertility doctors, nurses, and patient care teams to ensure seamless and timely service delivery

About You

Eligibility Requirements:

• General registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
• Previous experience working as a pharmacist in an Australian or New Zealand setting
• Leadership or management experience is highly regarded but not essential

Monash IVF Cremorne is a state-of-the-art fertility clinic that opened in early 2023, offering comprehensive reproductive healthcare services. Designed to support patients through every stage of their fertility journey, the clinic provides access to advanced treatments and services including fertility preservation, genetic testing, ultrasounds, donor and surrogacy support, and day surgery. The facility brings together a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team—featuring fertility specialists, gynaecologists, nurses, embryologists, counsellors, and patient coordinators—all working together in a modern, purpose-built space that houses consultation rooms, a laboratory, and surgical suites under one roof.
