What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacist at Slade Pharmacy New Town, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our local community. This is more than just a dispensing role, it’s an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide personalised health advice, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Community pharmacy care:

• Spend approximately 50% of your daily shift in the dispensary, including customer service, prescription checking, and providing personalised advice.
• Step out from behind the counter to build meaningful relationships with customers and support their health needs.

Nursing home & aged care services:

• Spend the remaining 50% of your shift dispensing for nursing homes and supporting aged care medication supply.
• Read and interpret medication charts and attend to chart changes as required.
• Use the Bestmed system for chart management

Slade Pharmacy New Town is committed to delivering exceptional medication management and pharmacy services to the local community. Our expertise in compounding allows us to provide personalised medication solutions for patients when commercially available options are not suitable.

Pharmacy operating hours

• Monday to Friday: 08:30am to 06:00pm
• Saturday: 08:30am - 02:00pm

What You’ll Bring
We welcome applications from both early career and experienced pharmacists who are eager to grow their careers in a supportive environment.

Eligibility requirements:

• Permanent Australian working rights.
• Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage interactions with doctors and customers.

Desirable skills & experience:

• Experience in non-sterile medication compounding.
• Familiarity with BESTMED medication management solution.
• At least 2-years Pharmacist practice experience.
