About the Role
Hospital Pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are essential. As an Imprest Pharmacy Technician, you’ll primarily work in hospital wards, collaborating with Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
- Dispense and supply medications for hospital and community patients
- Manage imprest and pharmacy inventory
- Deliver and collect medications from hospital wards
- Enter patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
- Assist with patient account enquiries and resolve issues
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated personnel
- Support the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks
About You
You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
Essential requirements:
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment
Desirable skills & experience:
- Experience in Hospital Pharmacy
- Certificate III/IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
