We’re seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team at Buderim Private Hospital on a permanent, part-time basis. About the Role
Hospital Pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician at Slade Pharmacy Buderim, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
  
Key responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
  • Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients
  • Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
  • Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
  • Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
  • Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
  • Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
  • Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks
  
Shift information
  • 12.5 hours per fortnight
  • Every second Thursday (7:30am–3:30pm) and Saturday (8:00am–1:00pm)
  • If desired, opportunities are available to work additional shifts
  
About You
You’re a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician currently working in a community or hospital pharmacy. You may be curious about hospital pharmacy or looking to expand your skillset beyond community practice. If you’re patient-focused, organised, and keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you! Previous hospital experience is not essential, and full training and support will be provided.
  
Essential requirements
  • Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
  • Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment.
  
Desirable skills and experience
  • Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
