We’re a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy Kempsey team at Kempsey District Hospital on a casual basis. This role will mainly involve covering occasional Friday shifts, with additional opportunities to provide leave coverage when needed.

What You’ll Do
Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients
  • Deliver medication and collect rounds to hospital wards
  • Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities 
  • Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Pharmacy claims and general administration duties   
  
What You’ll Bring
While previous pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. This includes dedicated training in imprest management to support your development in hospital pharmacy operations.
  
Eligibility requirements:
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment
  
Desirable skills & experience:
  • Prior experience in pharmacy dispensary
  • Certificate III/IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
