The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Mount Kuring-Gai. This is a unique, non-patient facing role where you will support the delivery of remote pharmacy services to a wide network of public hospital outpatient clinics across New South Wales.

About the Role
You will play an important role in in ensuring patients across both metropolitan and regional NSW receive timely and accurate access to essential medications. This office-based role is ideal for technicians who enjoy structured processes, logistics, and contributing to patient care in a non-clinical setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital patients and outpatients
- Management of and dispensing prescriptions for allocated hospitals and clinics
- PBS prescription processing under the supervision of pharmacist
- Liaising with health professionals when required
- Support the patient account process and dealing with account enquiries and payments
- Provide support to Pharmacists
- Generate delivery dockets and reports
- Assemble orders for dispatch to clinics
- Assist the Procurement Officer with stock control and maintenance
- Participate in regular stock-taking activities
- Assist the Customer Relations Officer in triaging phone calls and emails
Shift details:
Monday to Friday with shift start and finish times varying between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Site Information:
Located in the scenic outer suburbs of Northern Sydney, our Mount Kuring-Gai site allows you to avoid inner-city congestion while contributing to life-changing cancer care services.
About You
We invite applications from experienced Pharmacy Technicians seeking a transition into Hospital Pharmacy or a unique Pharmacy work setting. If you are looking for an opportunity to support pharmacy operations in a remote, office-based role, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Eligibility requirements:
- Australian working rights, valid for at least the next 12-months.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
Preferred requirements:
- Pharmacy dispensary experience in an Australian-based Pharmacy.
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Prior experience in remote pharmacy services.
