The Opportunity
We're looking for motivated Pharmacy Technicians to join our Slade Pharmacy team in Toowoomba. We have positions available in full-time and part-time capacities. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants looking to broaden their experience within a hospital setting while maintaining exposure to community pharmacy practice. Working across both retail and hospital dispensary services, you'll enjoy a varied role that directly contributes to patient care.

About the Role
Working at either St. Andrew’s or St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toowoomba, you’ll actively contribute to both the retail and dispensary functions of the pharmacy. This includes engaging with customers in retail pharmacy, assisting with medication supply, and supporting the dispensary team as needed.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Support and coordinate daily retail pharmacy operations.
• Assist with dispensing and supplying medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain stock control, inventory accuracy and pharmacy presentation standards.
• Process sales transactions and customer enquiries professionally.
• Ensure timely and accurate supply of medications to patients and hospital wards.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Assistant who enjoys working in a customer-focused retail environment and is confident supporting dispensary operations. A positive attitude and willingness to work across both areas is essential.
  
Essential requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Australian pharmacy dispensary.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Availability to work the required weekday and weekend roster.

  
Desirable skills and experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent.
