St John of God Murdoch Hospital is a large, private non-profit Catholic hospital in Perth offering 511 beds, 16 operating theatres, a 24-hour emergency department, and a dedicated hospice for palliative care. It provides a wide range of services including maternity, paediatrics, cardiology, cancer care, and surgical specialties. It is affiliated with several academic institutions including The University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University, and the University of Notre Dame Australia, supporting clinical education and research.
About the Role
Play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and driving service innovation. You will be reporting to the Director of Pharmacy and lead a team of pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, educate and manage a team delivering hospital and retail pharmacy services.
- Oversee daily operational and dispensing activities in the pharmacy.
- Manage pharmacy and hospital inventory.
- Provide ongoing development and maintenance of the pharmacies’ services and resources.
- Plan daily, weekly, and long-term goals and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Manage roster and workload allocation.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3-years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication abilities.
- Dispensing and inventory management experience
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
