We are looking for a motivated person with a positive can-do attitude to take up the post of Procurement Team Leader at our Office in Mt Waverley, Melbourne on a 12 month contract basis (9am to 5pm Monday – Friday). The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to the Procurement Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the procurement process by supporting the procurement systems used within the business to manage the usage of the best product that serves in both the interest of Icon Group and its clients and customers.
Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the business operates profitably and efficiently
- To oversee and lead the Procurement Team
- To work collaboratively with key stakeholders and team reports
- To manage inventory across the group and optimise business outcomes
- To oversee periodic pharmacy stocktakes
- To ensure the procurement information and systems are updated regularly
The person we are looking for will ideally possess the following skills & credentials:
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy computer applications
- Ability to lead the team
- Sound knowledge of procurement and stock control function
- Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain and industry
- Proven record of establishing and adherence to purchasing/procurement guidelines
- Thorough analysis of purchasing data
- Experience in supporting cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate projects and team members to achieve desired outcomes over short to medium time frames
