About the Role          
Working within the IT Pharmacy & Compounding function, you will lead the IT delivery stream for a business-critical transition program, enabling the seamless transition of IT hardware and systems across pharmacy sites in the Slade Pharmacy division. This will ensure operational readiness and continuity of care.
  
Alongside this program, you will manage the upgrade of POS Works, a key retail system supporting pharmacy operations. Working across core IT teams and business stakeholders, you will deliver outcomes with minimal disruption, strong governance, and a clear focus on operational continuity.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects supporting pharmacy site transitions and system upgrades
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Coordinate delivery across infrastructure, security, onsite services, and application teams
  • Manage site readiness activities including hardware, network, application configuration, and cutover planning
  • Lead testing phases (SIT/UAT), implementation, go‑live, and post‑implementation stabilisation
  • Ensure all projects comply with Icon Group policies, standards, and governance frameworks
  
About You
You’re an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background delivering infrastructure and application projects in healthcare or similarly regulated environments. You bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex programs and are comfortable working with both technical specialists and operational stakeholders.
  
Essential requirements:
  • Full Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from date of employment.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Project Management.
  • End-to-end‑end experience managing infrastructure and application upgrade projects
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2)
