About the Role
We're currently seeking a permanent full-time Quality Pharmacist to work in our newly opened state-of-the-art compounding facility in Woodville Adelaide. The work involves preparation and compounding of oncology treatments. Reporting to the Quality Pharmacist Supervisor, you will work closely with the Operations department, providing quality control support to the compounding centre, with a strong continuous improvement focus.

This is a permanent full-time position working a minimum of 76 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday plus reasonable overtime and some weekends, work on shifts to support operations that work between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Releasing all finished products (including oncology, antibiotics, TPN & LAF)
• Ensure all products are compounded appropriately according to product specifications and documentation to obtain the required quality.
• Ensure all quality management systems and procedures are adhered to
• Participate in preparation of new Quality Documents and revision/update of existing documents.
• Ensure all product non-conformances are evaluated and rejected and/or escalated to quality management in a timely manner
• Ensure all incidents, deviations and complaints are reported appropriately and document in the QMS in a timely manner

Who we are looking for
We are seeking a self-motivated registered pharmacist who is keen to contribute to patient care in a back of house environment. With previous experience working in an Australian based pharmacy, you will have high attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities.

You do not need to have experience working within Quality Pharmacy, we will provide you with full training to help you succeed in this role. Motivated community pharmacists wishing to further their careers are encouraged to apply!

Key Requirements:

• A pharmacist with relevant Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy
• Current AHPRA registration as Pharmacist in Australia
• Hospital or oncology experience is not required as training will be provided
• Team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients
• High attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals

Community Pharmacists are welcome to apply. Hospital or oncology experience is not required. Full training is provided. You must be available to travel interstate for occasional training if required.
