We’re seeking a passionate Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team for a 6-month full-time contract. Reporting to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality planning and treatment services aligned with the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription.
What You’ll Do
- Implement planning and treatments that best meet patient needs
- Ensure compliance with protocols for safe, efficient, and exceptional care
- Collaborate across departments to provide holistic cancer care
You’ll work with a full Varian suite (TrueBeam, Aria, Eclipse) and advanced techniques, including:
- Stereotactic treatments
- Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH)
- 4DCT
- Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT)
- LDR brachytherapy
- Auto Beam Hold
- Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
- Eclipse Treatment Planning System
- Aria Patient Information Management System
About You
You’re a motivated, adaptable, and compassionate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Skills & Experience
- AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist
- WA Radiation Licence to use a radiation source
- Experience in planning and plan checking across various techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Leadership capability and mentoring experience
- Experience with stereotactic techniques (desirable)
- Familiarity with private healthcare service models
