We are proud to launch Queensland’s first private Gamma Knife cancer treatment centre, featuring the advanced Elekta Esprit system. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering team delivering highly focused, non-invasive treatments for brain cancer and complex neurological conditions.
  
We are currently seeking Radiation Therapists of all levels to join our new centre. Whether you're starting your career or looking to step into a senior role, this is your chance to work with world-class technology and make a real impact.

About the Role
As a Radiation Therapist, you will deliver high-quality planning and treatment services using stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS/SRT) techniques on the Elekta Gamma Knife platform. You’ll be part of a collaborative, patient-focused team, reporting to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and working a full-time 9-day fortnight.

Key Responsibilities
Radiation Therapist:
  • Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using Gamma Knife technology.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
  • Uphold dignity and respect in all patient interactions.
Senior Radiation Therapist (in addition to above):
  • Support the Clinical Lead in managing daily operations of the Gamma Knife service
  • Prioritise workloads and mentor junior staff.
  • Perform QA checks on treatment plans to ensure safe delivery.
  • Act as a technical resource and support staff development.
What We’re Looking For
Radiation Therapist:
  • AHPRA registration and QLD Radiation License.
  • Commitment to high-quality care and clinical excellence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Gamma Knife treatment planning and delivery (desirable).
Senior Radiation Therapist (in addition to above):
  • Advanced clinical knowledge in stereotactic techniques (SRS/SRT).
  • Leadership experience and ability to guide small teams.
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor clinical protocols.
