As a Registered Nurse at our Southport centre, you’ll play a key role in delivering personalised care to patients undergoing medical oncology and haematology treatments. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and IV infusions
- Patient assessment, education, and side-effect management
- Insertion and care of peripheral and central access devices
- Supporting procedures and providing pre/post care
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Offering emotional support to patients and families
- Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute care nursing
- Day Oncology experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- IV cannulation and chemotherapy knowledge preferred (training available)
