Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Registered Nurse who thrives in a multidisciplinary setting and is passionate about oncology care. Experience in Radiation or Medical Oncology is highly desirable, but we also welcome nurses with backgrounds in:

• High-acuity care
• Immunocompromised patient management
• Wound care
• Palliative care

About the Role
As an RN at Icon, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing radiotherapy. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you’ll:

• Assess and implement individualised care plans
• Provide education and emotional support
• Monitor and manage treatment side effects
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals  

This role offers autonomy within a supportive team, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients during their treatment journey.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic, patient-centred care
• Monitor and treat side effects including lymphoedema
• Uphold best practice protocols and clinical guidelines
• Contribute expert nursing knowledge and support clinical trials
• Assist with day-to-day operations and new system implementations  

What You’ll Bring

• AHPRA Nursing Registration
• Experience in oncology nursing (preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
