We are looking for a Site Manager who is passionate about operational excellence, strong team culture and providing exceptional patient experiences.

The opportunity
As the Site Manager, you will provide operational leadership across all aspects of the centre’s medical and radiation oncology services. You will ensure the site runs smoothly, efficiently and safely, while fostering a culture where staff are engaged, supported and dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
Your role will focus on:
  
Operational leadership

• Overseeing day‑to‑day services to ensure high‑quality, efficient care delivery.
• Managing site budgets, financial performance, resource allocation and workforce planning.
• Building strong relationships with VMOs, SMOs, referrers, suppliers and onsite consultants.
• Monitoring activity trends, KPIs and business performance, and identifying opportunities for service improvement and growth.

Quality and governance

• Ensuring compliance with healthcare legislation, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Leading clinical governance, incident management, quality improvement activities and audit programs.
• Overseeing information management processes and privacy compliance.

People leadership

• Supporting and developing multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate and consistent care.
• Leading performance and development processes to build capability and engagement.
• Fostering a positive culture that reflects Icon’s values and code of conduct.

Workplace health and safety

• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring systems, processes and facilities support safe work practices.
• Monitoring risks, identifying controls and escalating issues appropriately.  

About you
We are looking for someone who brings:

• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong operational management capability, including workforce planning and budget management.
• Commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse performance data and drive activity and quality outcomes.
• Experience leading quality systems, accreditation processes and WHS compliance.
• Ability to build trust, collaborate effectively and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Desired

• Undergraduate qualification in a health‑related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in business or management.

• Immunisation requirements in line with healthcare standards
