The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Workspace Platform Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a senior helpdesk or desktop support professional ready to take the next step into Citrix and digital workspace technologies. You’ll work in an established enterprise Citrix environment, gaining hands-on experience across the full stack of virtual desktop infrastructure, cloud integration, and profile management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and troubleshooting for our Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) environment, building your expertise in virtualisation and centralised application delivery.

- Gain practical experience with Machine Creation Services (MCS), golden image lifecycle, and image management.
- Support end users with connection, application, and profile-related issues (FSLogix, roaming profiles).
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrades (VDA rollouts, StoreFront updates, profile enhancements) alongside senior engineers.
- Develop exposure to advanced Citrix features such as Federated Authentication Service (FAS) and Azure AD SAML integration.
- Strong background in desktop or helpdesk support, with a clear interest in moving into infrastructure and workspace platforms.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking.
- Exposure to Citrix (MCS, image management, NetScaler, or Citrix Cloud) is a plus.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and customer focus.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on bigger challenges in a collaborative team environment.
- Clear communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
At Icon, you’ll be part of a team that believes in making a difference. You’ll contribute to meaningful work that supports patients and healthcare professionals, backed by a culture that values innovation, connection, and purpose.
