Mark has over 25 years’ experience in healthcare technology including 15 years working for health IT vendors where he has been responsible for professional services across ANZ, ASEAN and Greater Asia Pacific regions. He has also worked in the public sector where he led technology program delivery across several hospital and health services, as well as technology vendor partnering and programs with Australian Digital Health Agency.
As a specialist in healthcare systems architecture, Mark has significant experience managing diverse international health IT projects, alongside proven project management skills in implementing systems and complex integrations in legacy environments. He is dedicated to quality in all areas of IT from production through to implementation and day-to-day customer support.
Mark has been with Icon for almost three years and has held numerous roles including Head of Clinical Systems, General Manager IT and IT Director. Now as Chief Information Officer, he leads a growing and experienced global IT team with a proven ability to manage operations, system support and professional services to effectively implement and integrate systems and multidisciplinary environments, allowing Icon to deliver exceptional healthcare and patient treatment.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Information Science and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Cross University.
