Ross Koscharsky is a prominent figure in global healthcare leadership, currently serving as the Global Director of Icon Cancer Centre, part of Icon Group. With over 20 years’ experience in Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles, including 15 years’ experience in healthcare, now as Global Director, Ross leads the group’s cancer care division with strong foundations in financial and operational excellence, shaping Icon Group’s strategic direction and international expansion.
Before assuming his current role in 2023, he served as Icon Group’s CFO for eight years. During his tenure, he led more than 20 acquisitions and multiple debt and equity raisings, facilitating the group’s growth across Australia, Asia, and other emerging markets. He is known for his ability to guide organizations through change, integration, and sustainable growth.
Ross currently leads the global Icon Cancer Centre network of over 60 centres encompassing medical oncology, haematology, radiation oncology, theranostics and research across 8 countries where he continues to apply his deep and extensive knowledge of Icon and the healthcare landscape to effectively lead global operations across Icon’s expansive cancer care network. Ross’ focus on building strong executive and doctor relationships, coupled with his proven leadership skills helps to drive forward the organisation’s strategic goals, integration, and sustainable growth pipeline.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from Macquarie University and is a Chartered Accountant. He has also contributed to charitable organizations at board and committee levels such as Telstra ChildFlight, The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, and is on the board of The Icon Cancer Foundation.
