Matt’s professional journey into healthcare began in 2009 when he successfully completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania. He worked as an intern pharmacist at Calvary Hospital, within the Capital Chemist Group. It was during this time that an interest in oncology pharmacy and cancer care took shape

In 2016, Matt became Director and Managing Partner of New Town Capital Chemist. The year 2017 brought an exciting opportunity when New Town Capital Chemist (now Epic) was acquired by Icon, which then saw Matt transition into the role of Pharmacy Manager.

In 2019, driven by a desire to make a difference, Matt pursued the position of Site Manager at Icon Cancer Centre Hobart.

Matt has been instrumental in the establishment of strong relationships, facilitating the expansion of services to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional cancer care to patients throughout Tasmania.

Matt’s dedication and strategic vision have helped transform the landscape of cancer care in the region, bringing better care to more people, closer to home.
