The Opportunity
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Slade Pharmacy teams at Currumbin on a 12-month full-time contract. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across mental health and general hospital pharmacy practice while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role
This 12-month contract offers a great opportunity to broaden your clinical experience while working within a supportive, patient-centred multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will deliver hands-on clinical pharmacy services and actively support patient care alongside a collaborative network of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
• Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, discharge and day appointments.
• Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
• Support and educate patients, carers, hospital staff on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines.

Pharmacy operating hours
Monday to Friday: 09:00am – 05:00pm
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
  
About You
We welcome applications from newly registered Pharmacists, with full training provided. Once trained, there will be occasions where you will be the sole Pharmacist on-site, so confidence and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
  
Essential requirements

• Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist.
• Australian working rights, valid for the duration of employment.
