We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Pharmacy Technician to provide weekend cover for our team at Slade Pharmacy Grey Street, located at the ground floor of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, East Melbourne.
Working with our supportive and collaborative team, you will provide vital pharmacy services to our customers and patients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the patients’ medication needs.

Previous hospital experience is well-regarded but not essential, as hands-on training will be provided.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting in preparing prescriptions, handling customer queries, and ensuring the timely supply of medications.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
- Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and community patients
- Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
- Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
- Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
- Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
- Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks
About You
You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
Essential Requirements:
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
