The Opportunities at The Bays Hospital, Mornington

The Bays Private Hospital is located on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, with close proximity to many local attractions such as coastal living, rural vistas and recreational activities, providing an ideal lifestyle location within driving distance of the CBD. The hospital consists of 100 acute beds and offers a range of acute medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric and oncology services.
Pharmacist Manager, Permanent, Full-Time, 76 hours a fortnight.

  • Lead a small team to deliver a dynamic service in a beautiful location
  • Be responsible for service provision to the hospital (with full support from your area manager and the broader Icon Group Pharmacy team)
  • Use your pharmacy skills in the hands-on delivery of patient care and day-to-day operation of the pharmacy
  • Develop your leadership and management skills
  • Be part of the broader patient care vision of Icon Group
Clinical Pharmacist, Permanent, Full-Time, 76 hours a fortnight.
Do you have existing hospital experience, or are looking make the transition from community to hospital pharmacy? A stimulating and rewarding opportunity awaits.
In this role your will:
  • Provide pharmacy and clinical services to the patients and wards of The Bays Private Hospital
  • Have the opportunity to learn the rewarding skills of oncology pharmacist. A complete learning plan is available to support pharmacists new to the oncology pharmacy role.
  • Be a team player in a small, tight knit team
  • Have opportunities to develop clinical skills in a variety of wards with a patient mix that includes medical, surgical and ICU settings. A complete learning plan available to support pharmacists new to the hospital environment.
What you’ll bring  
  • Hold a current Pharmacist AHPRA registration with previous experience in an Australian based retail or hospital pharmacy
  • Enthusiasm to grow and develop your leadership and pharmacy skills in a supportive environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • You’ll be a great communicator both verbally and in writing
  • You’ll have proven time management skills and a key eye for details
  • Empathetic and understanding mindset
