Radiation Therapist - Icon Cancer Centre Noarlunga SA


We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our radiation oncology cancer treatment centre in Noarlunga on a full-time basis for a 12-month contract.
Working a 76-hour fortnight you will have the opportunity to work across planning, simulation and treatment experiencing all aspects of Radiation Therapy. The site runs with a full Varian suite as well as IGRT, IMRT, SRT, SGRT and VMAT.
The centre is led by a team of highly experienced cancer specialists who provide cutting-edge radiation therapy treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience
  • Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner
  • Treat all patients and their carers with respect and equality maintaining dignity at all times
  • May be required to work across other SA Icon sites as operational needs require.

Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services
  • Apply effective communication and interpersonal skills to represent Icon in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders.
  • Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.
  • Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration with an SA EPA Radiation Licence.
