Alongside his role as Chair on the Icon Group Board, Paul is currently Chancellor of the University of Notre Dame Australia, Chair of Metlifecare and a Director of O’Connell Street Associates.
His prior Chair experience includes St Vincent’s Health Australia, I-MED Radiology Network, Broadspectrum, New South Wales Ports, Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA), Myer, Thales Australia, Medibank Private, the COAG Reform Council, Intoll Management Limited, Symbion Health, Afinity Health, Plutonic Resources and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He was also a Director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and Perpetual Limited, Catholic Health Australia, a Commissioner of the Health Insurance Commission, a member of the Australia-Malaysia Institute Executive Committee and Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit reporting directly to the Prime Minister on strategic direction in policy formulation.
Paul has a Bachelor of Arts/Law focused on economics and law from University of Sydney and was awarded an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO) in 2009.
