About the role:
We are seeking an Application Support Specialists to join our collaborative team on a full-time permanent basis. You will assist with the support of Icon Group applications and systems. Working closely with other members of the IT team, our vendors and partners, you will also be responsible for ensuring all sites are supported effectively and incidents are managed appropriately.
Part of the role will also involve mentoring and working with the IT Service Desk to ensure they have the appropriate level of skill to assist with frontline calls before they are escalated to the Enterprise Applications team.

Primary responsibilities:
  • ERP (Dynamics AX/D365), SharePoint, Power App maintenance and support, which includes evaluating and testing new patches and version upgrades, providing recommendations and developing suitable documentation
  • Vendor solution evaluation, implementation and support including integration and sociability testing
  • Proactively monitor system performance to ensure applications meet business requirements
  • Liaise with business owners to ensure the application continues to meet the goals and objectives of the business including the lifecycle management of the application, future integration and interoperability with current and future enterprise applications
  • Resolve business application issues with vendors and partners
  • Provide second/third level support in answering, logging, resolving, tracking, escalation and closing of Service Desk calls
What you'll bring:
  • 3- 5 years of experience in an Information Technology or related area
  • Tertiary IT qualifications or proven commercial experience within a similar position
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Server, Linux, Microsoft Azure and application frameworks.
  • Proven understanding of Microsoft SQL Server technologies
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps and scripting languages
  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently solve problems
