About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Functional Specialist to join on a full-time 12-month contract.  You will be supporting the deployment of Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 while working closely with the Project Implementation team.  You will have the opportunity to be involved across all of our divisions and make a positive impact on the overall community.

Reporting to the Applications Manager, you will be a vital member of a team supporting the operations and collaborating with other members of the IT and project teams to support all divisions of Icon Group globally. This role will be heavily focussed on the Financial and Inventory functions within Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Drive the elicitation of business requirements using a broad range of engagement techniques, including data and systems analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, task and workflow analysis and/or viewpoints
  • Provide user requirement analysis, translate business requirements into design recommendations, negotiate with stakeholders and deliver high quality solutions
  • Manage and update design and support documentation in line with agreed design principles, best practice and quality assurance processes
  • In delivering inventory and financial business requirements, ensure systems and processes are considered and aligned with the IT roadmap
  • Assist in software releases and rollouts per change management best practices
  • Assist with technology upgrades and implementations at our sites to support project activities
  • Assist in developing project cost estimates and business cases for the selection of new products or the development of additional functionality
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure they remain engaged

What you'll bring:
  • Hold a Diploma or university degree in IT or related area
  • Extensive application support experience
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
  • Effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics 365
  • High attention to detail
