Nurse Manager - Vinmec

An experienced nurse will be appointed to the team to manage the nursing function within a multidisciplinary team.  The successful person will have experience at Senior Staff Nurse level within an oncology setting, with a proven ability to support and mentor team members to ensure a strong alignment with the vision to deliver world standard care.

It is expected that you will hold nursing registration with training and experience in the treatment of Breast, Lung, Gastrointestinal, Head & Neck, Lymphoma and Gynaecological cancers.

  • Lead Administration/Practice Management team members at Site and ensure a safe, supportive and productive work environment
  • Maintain an understanding of all administration/practice management tasks at site to ensure appropriate day to day management of the administration/practice management function, relieve in any role and support team members as required by hands on filling in administration roles when covering staff absence
  • Manage recruitment, orientation, training and performance reviews of new staff
  • Develop a high performing team through quality performance management. Address performance and manage issues relating to team members as they arise
  • Implement effective rosters to manage workloads and meet the needs of the Site
  • Provide consistent and transparent communications to all team members within the Administration/Practice Management team
  • Participate as an active and positive member of the Site Leadership team and maintain a collaborative relationship with all team members at the Site
  • Conduct monthly team meetings
  • Encourage a participatory team approach to service delivery, canvas ideas and strategies to enhance the service delivery of the team
  • Complete comprehensive team assessments to identify gaps in skills required to achieve business outcomes and ensure staff training is completed (to be done in conjunction with HR).
