The Opportunity:
We have an exciting 6-12 month contract part-time opportunity for a passionate Pharmacist who is eager to get out from behind the counter and truly engage with patients. Partner with a harmonious hospital team at the Mayo Private Hospital that has a strong focus on providing medical rehab and mental health services to Taree and surrounding communities.
  
Expand and develop your leadership skills, as well as assist in the development and implementation of innovative pharmacy services.

There is flexibility for a start date and training and handover period will set you up to succeed in this role. There is potential to transition to a permanent full-time position to work across both our Taree and Forster sites.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure the business operates profitably and efficiently
  • Being involved in the strategic planning and operations of all aspects of the Pharmacy business
  • Motivate, guide and lead our pharmacy team to provide exceptional healthcare services
  • Actively participate and oversee all daily operational activities in the pharmacy
  • Ensure the business complies with legislation and contractual obligations and continuously improves its clinical and pharmacy services
  • Lead and manage dispensary, retail and clinical services at Camberwell to service the rehabilitation and mental health wards on site
  • Oversee external pharmacy service
  • Attend and present at key client hospital meetings
  • Manage and oversee clinical trials
About you:
We are seeking a passionate employee who can confidently lead and mentor a dynamic team. You will have the ability to identify opportunities for development and growth for the business with a can-do attitude.

Skills & Experience:
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Previous clinical experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
