Pharmacy Administration Technician Team Leader - Mt Kuring-gai

About the role:

We have a 12-month contract, full-time Team Leader position available to lead our Slade Pharmacy Administration team. Working at our office in Mt Kuring-gai, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the pharmacy administration technicians so they can conduct their duties efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities:

About you:
As a registered pharmacist with Australian based pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven, have excellent communication skills and a passion for leading and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications:     
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
Skills:                                     
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel) and Outlook
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the PBS and understanding of the Services Australia Medicare process
  • Proficiency with dispensing software (preferably FRED Dispense)
  • Proficiency with CHARM preferable
  • Initiative and the ability to proactively resolve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and quickly rectify errors
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changes in work requirements
  • Ability to work across team hierarchy, strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to teach, assess and transfer skills
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist within a community or hospital pharmacy setting
  • Experience with oncology products is desirable
  • At least 12 months experience managing or leading a small team
