About the role:
10 month full-time contract to join our collaborative pharmacy team at the Epworth Hospital in Box Hill. You will work closely with our experienced pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-level pharmacy services to a 223 bed facility that provides a variety of services, including allied health, cardiac care, general surgery oncology and more.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Assist with the management of hospital imprest
  • Process sales transactions and assist with account enquiries
  • Manage scripts and duplicates
  • Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
  • Process PBS claims
  • Educate and liaise with patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Inventory control and management
  
About you:
With previous experience working in an Australian based pharmacy, you will have strong attention to detail and have developed the ability to efficiently prioritise your workload. You will also be an active and dependable team player  and have the ability to demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
