About the role:
2 permanent full-time positions available. Both roles play a key component in delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.

Rotational Pharmacy Technician 
You will be based at our pharmacy in the Epworth Hospital Richmond and rotate across our sites in Victoria to cover blocks of planned leave and occasionally other leave on short notice. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is seeking variety in their workload and interested in developing knowledge in hospital, oncology and clinical pharmacy services. Travel allowance provided. 

Pharmacy Technician
You will join our largest pharmacy team at the Epworth Hospital in Richmond. With over 100 employees, this pharmacy provides retail, compounding, IVF and clinical pharmacy services to the community and patients. You will be on a weekly rotating roster working Monday - Friday (37 hrs per week) and shifts will vary between 7:00am - 10:00pm.

Key responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medication to inpatients and outpatients
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and medical staff
  • Assist with retail sales and supply of S2 and S3 medicines
  • Manage scripts and duplicates
  • Assist with processing PBS claims
  • Ensure patients and staff receive the correct medication
  • Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees

About you:
With previous experience working in an Australian based pharmacy, you will have strong attention to detail and have developed the ability to efficiently prioritise your workload. You will also be an active and dependable team player  and have the ability to demonstrate a commitment to customer service.

A valid driver's license and access to your own form of transport is required for the Rotational Pharmacy Technician role.
