About the role:
Permanent full-time opportunity to work 38 hours per week between Monday - Friday. In this role, you will assist in delivering high-level pharmacy services while ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and reconciled accurately. You will predominantly be based onsite at the Epworth Hospital in Richmond and will rotate to our other pharmacy sites located in Melbourne.
Gain the chance to further diversify your career in pharmacy and be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services including hospital and compounding. With the support of our friendly and collaborative team, you will receive the right training on hospital processes.
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Assist with the management of hospital imprest
- Process sales transactions and assist with account enquiries
- Manage scripts and duplicates
- Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
- Process PBS claims
- Educate and liaise with patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Inventory control and management
We are seeking an adaptable individual who has the ability to prioritise their workload. You will also possess the ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently.
Valid driver's license and access to your own form of transport is required.
Previous dispensing experience is not mandatory as we offer structured training for you to succeed in the role. All you need is some form of experience working in an Australian based pharmacy.
